Pattern in rabbit kit ear

I have a 3 week old rabbit kit that looks like it has patches on the inside of the ears? I’ve only seen this one other time in a previous litter, but the baby was a fader and died at 5 weeks old.
I have pictures of the 3 week old attached.

So if anyone has an idea to what this is, I’m super curious and I haven’t seen anything similar in other rabbits before. Even if it’s just a cool color pattern, It’d be nice to know!

Usually the areas with darker skin color indicate that dark hair will grow there. You don’t see it as often on the skin in the ear but I wouldn’t worry about it.

Oh ok, in the years I’ve been raising rabbits I haven’t come across anything like this before. I guess I have a new page to add to my mental rabbit encyclopedia Lol

I see this sometimes in broken or vienna mark rabbits. It's just a cute color pattern
