Pasteurella in humans?

I was just wondering if it is possible for a human who has been in contact with a rabbit that has Pasteurella to get ill? I am always sure to wash my hands afte handling him, but I still worry because he does wipe mucous from his nose into my hands sometimes when he wants me to pet him.

Just curious if anyone has had any issues?

It's not impossible, no, but the chances are very slim. It's good to wash your hands after handling your sick bun though just in case.
