Paper?

Would it be a bad idea to use shreaded paper in my jr does litter box? If she nibbled on it would it hurt her?

Paper is ok as long as it's regular paper without tape, white out, staples or glue on it.

I put paper from the shreader there and we dont shread paper with any of that stuff on it. Thanks :biggrin2:

Nibbling is fine, just make sure there's no consuming, can cause compaction if eaten. Alot of times they like to rip it for fun, long sheets of it.

I use paper for Belldandy's cage. I lay it out in sheets to line her cage and when she did have a litter box I used it in there. She loves it and I love the easy clean up.

I also like that her fur isn't stained as easily. When I used wood shavings her fur got this stain to it and it looked dirty all the time. I changed it daily to every other day depending. With the paper her fur is nice and white. I change it daily.

paper's fine, as long as it doesn't have any toxic materials on it!
