Overgrown incisors

Hi everyone I have a bunny emergency

I just adopted my first bunny a couple days ago, and it turns out she has a bad underbite and her bottom incisors have grown pretty long.
Her owners didnt say anything and i feel dumb for not inspecting further.. but what do I do?
I dont make alot of money and it seems that I need to take her to the vet to get it grinded down or something. Is there a vet in edmonton that is cheap or will let me make monthly payments?

As I live in the United States, I wouldn't be able to give you any info on Vets in Edmonton, Canada.

But here are some articles and videos regarding how bunny's teeth are trimmed.

I wouldn't recommend doing this yourself, but go to a Rabbit Savvy Vet (when you find one), maybe he will show you how to do it safely. Because once this occurs, bunnies with bad teeth alignment will have to have their teeth trimmed for the rest of their lives.

Also may be helpful to know that some animal dentists do exotic pets. I had a holland lop (RIP Beau 2010) who had extensive on-going molar work done by an animal dentist.

I ended up finding an awesome vet. the incisor grind was $30. the molars will be $100 with anesthetic.. and he is very brave

Out of curiosity, what vet did you end up going to?

Southside animal hospital. It is awesome there, they even have two waiting rooms just in-case there are separable species

Awesome, I see that one when I go to the dollar store all the time

Just so you know, I had my boy neutered in Westlock, it was $95 with everything included.
