I have a velveteen lop, here in Southern California. What are y’all thoughts on housing him outside rather than inside? I had a Dutch before growing up that was outside and loved it however I wanted to do more research with the velveteen lop for this big ol ears!?
Any advice is appreciated

If the bunny alone outside then I recommend housing him indoors instead.

That’s because outside they get less interaction with you and others. So they will be alone most of the day.

Then you have to think of all the dangers, build a cage that’s big enough and safe while fixing a run.

It’s a lot easier to house indoors, less things to fix and think about. But if your bunny love digging then housing outdoors with a friend will be perfect.

Myself have both outdoors bunnies and a free roaming bunny :)

I have an outdoor rabbit in the set up below. He is happy and super sweet! Outdoor rabbits are the best because they don't get underfoot, and they can't destroy your house. Just make sure that the rabbit has a fan in the summer so that it doesn't overheat.
