Orange urine?

Is it normal for a bunny to have orange/yellow..but more orange...urine? Is that its normal color?

Yes it's normal. I just had a thread about the same thing. I took my bunny in for a urinalysis & it came back fine.



As long as your bunny isn't straining to pee, he/she should be fine. :biggrin2:

It often turns more orangey when the bunny gets high amounts of beta carotene in their food.. like carrots, chard, etc that are high in that and b vitamins. Chard if fed daily can actually make it a bit reddishy orange which gave me a start once!

Thanks I have only been feeding him his pellets and timothy hay..he is still a baby
