RaspberrySwirl,

To me digging in the dirt is very relaxing. Plus I get the benefit ofit's beauty and all the freeveggis! We had a really funnygrowing season this year. It was overly cool so things didn't do aswell as they could have. The squash ended uphaving to beharvested too early because of a freeze. It was kind of a bummer, thekids pumpkins didn't turn all the way orange. :?I am lookingforward to next year's accomplishment! I love to show off my gardens tomy family and friends, and share the veggies of course. Here's a coupleof thumbnails of what remains. I love those flowers in the first threepics, can't remember what their called, *note to self, find seedpacket* they are really late blooming but are still lasting in ourfridgid temps .

Fergi, those arebeautiful! My Grandparents live in Wisconsin, so I understand thepitfalls of a short growing season. It's wonderful that your kids liketo garden too. Sebastian's little girl is really the only one out ofall my five that enjoys it. I suppose as she gets older she willoutgrow it too. :(Keep up the good work!

I think I'm coming your way during theHolidays! I'll honk as I drive through Minnesota!
