This is a Netherland Dwarf mix litter (3/4 ND, 1/4 Mini Rex) from a black and orange tri doe (the mix) who carries blue, and a Sable Point purebred Netherland Dwarf. The goal of this breeding was to see if it would be possible to produce an ermine, or a solid snow white with dark eyes. What SHOCKED me was that the one solid white we got actually has stunning slate gray eyes! We also got a harlequin, a black and orange tri (with very few markings, less than 10%), what looks to be a smutty red (is that right?) and what I think might turn out to be a Sable Point like Daddy (far left in the group picture). Would love your thoughts on color identification! (And squees are welcome too, of course.)
