Newborn rabbit, stools impacted

I have a brand new litter of bunnies (3 days old), and they've been doing well, up until today.

I check on my babies twice a day right now. Last night's check was all good, everyone was doing well. This morning I picked up a kit and it looks like his stools were impacted.

I cleaned him up very gently (after soaking his rear for a little while). Now it looks almost like his little anus ruptured out.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there anything specific that could have caused this? What can I do for him?

I would put some Neosporin (the kind without pain relief added) on it and keep it clean, then check the next day to see if the redness/swelling had gone down.
