my bew dwarf lop had a baby last night. and this morning i found it out of the nest with half its throat eaten? why has she done this:cry4:? do they only ever have just the one? its her first set of kits. also does anyone know how to treat mites? thanks guys:rip:

Its normal for first time mums to kill or eat there kits.
There's mite powder to treat mites.

That's kind of the hard lesson breeders must learn. Don't expect too much out of first time moms. Raising babies can be great and wonderful but sometimes it can be not so much fun either.
