New rabbit Hippy - 9wks old

Hi everyone,

Just doing the formalities. We've just got a mini lop male rabbit who currently resides indoors with us. It's only been 4 days so we're trying to make his transition easy as possible, encouraging him socially.

Had a bit of a breakthrough today. I came home from shopping, went to see him and on knowing I was there he started tipping his empty food bowl and nudging it towards me which I really liked. So we're hopefully going in the right direction.

When I lived at home we had a rabbit who was happy inside the house, came up to us for cuddles and was litter trained. I'm trying to achieve the same thing now! Mum also had another rabbit afterwards which was female and not as easy to keep. She would often scratch and just wasn't a sociable bunny. This is why this time we opted for a male.

We have a 3 year old daughter so fingers crossed things will work out well!
