You can wean the kits any time after 6weeks. We usually wean at 6 weeks and will sell them at 8weeks. As far as handling them to much or too soon, there isno such thing. We handle ours right after birth and as muchas possible thereafter. We cuddle and talk and pet and kissand when their eyes open they already know and recognize you.It makes for very calm and well adjusted bunnies that like to betouched, held and cuddled. So don't worrry aboutit. Donna
