Hi, I'm Natalie and I just adopted my bun two days ago. Her name is Eliza. I've been stalking this thread for a while to research rabbit care and be sure that one would be the right pet for us. I'm not sure what breed she is (maybe standard or mini rex?) and am hoping maybe one of you could help me indentify what she is. The lady I got her from said she is about 4 months old, which looks about right considering how small she was compared to the others. The adults were quite large. We are so excited to have her with us! I love her soo much. Her cage is NIC and only has two levels for now. (I was actually a bit embarassed to post this picture because some of the spacing in thepanels of her cage are too large, whichI realized AFTERseeing the warning thread on here about the "new"NIC panels -go figure ):foreheadsmack:

So that will be fixed this afternoon when I get another box from Target. I had a rabbit when I was a kidnamed Hopper and she was the sweetest, but Eliza will be my first indoor bun.I'm sure I'll haveplenty questions on here about training and handling, etc. but I'm doing my best to do right by her and she seems happy in her new home so far. :)

Hi Natalie, Welcome to RO.

Your bunny sounds like a little sweetheart.

You picture didn't show up.

I use photobucket and just copy & paste the IMG.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm not far from you - I live in Del Rio, Tx.

You might want to post a picture of your bunny in the rabbitry for help in identifying the breed, etc.

Anyway - WELCOME TO THE FORUM!

:D

Much better, OMG adorabe:heartbeat::big kiss::inlove:.

Is she a Flemish her ears are HUGE?

I see what you mean by the huge spacing in the panels. Gosh all of mine would fit through those holes, they are so big. Too bad you live thousands of miles from me, I have lots of the smaller hole panels.

Looking forward to more pictures. You need to start a blog for Eliza.

Susan:)
