New from Georgia

Hi everyone! I just acquired my first rabbit! Well, I did have one when I was about 10, but that was almost 20 years ago. The newest member of our family is 1 year old English Angora agouti. He is a beautiful boy but had no interest in the ladies so his breeder decided to sell him. I will be getting him neutered next week and hoping to get him litter-box trained. So far he has been a dream, doing well with cats, and lets me do anything to him! I had no idea a rabbit could be so cuddly. I plan on harvesting his wool and after it is spun, learning to knit.

Our family also has 5 cats, 6 dogs, and about 15 hens outside. Amazingly, we all live on 1 acre in Georgia right outside of Atlanta. I know very little about rabbits but am looking forward to learning a lot here!

Here is another picture of him, the name Jacob is starting to grow on me. He'll be neutered on Tuesday, hopefully I can get him litter trained after that!
