My 4 year old fixed male rabbit and I recently moved and he's been exhibiting many new talents. For example a 72 inch vertical leap out of his pen. And the most confusing: licking every inch of the couch and me. Any insight?

Is this a new couch? Has it been chemically treated?

What was his previous record of jumping?

These are probably just insecurity behavior due to being in a new place, but I'd put a sheet over the pen & maybe one over the couch as well, if it's new [to protect him].

I'm hoping he is just adjusting. I only know it was 72 in because it was 3 NIC panels
A sheet for a roof is something I hadn't thought of!

It's what other people with climbers tend to use. Honey is SO not a climber that she'll jump down from a 16" height, but won't jump up more than 12".

He's such a fire cracker! I wish I could leave him free range. Do you guys use a fitted sheet? How do you secure it?
