hi my standard blue lop has just had 5 babies. The dad is a Holland harliquin lop. I will be looking for lovely homes for them in 6 weeks time. The reason I have put this message up is because I would love them to go to knowledgeable homes. My rabbits are indoor rabbits and do have alot of freedom in my home. I dont want them to spend their lives caged up but to have happy care free homes.

Hi, there's a special section for rehoming rabbits hope one of the moderators will move your thread there. It would be good if you could state your location in the title and maybe add some photo as well. Surely you know that babies will need to stay with their mother until at least 8 weeks of age, after that if they are fully weaned and eat solid food and there's no problems with their development they are ready to go to their new homes.

If it was your first time, mother needs to be on unlimited high protein and calcium pellets so she can produce enough milk to feed them, and they will start eating pellets around week 5-6 also unlimited since they need lots of material to grow. This means junior pellets usually alfalfa based with protein min 16%, up to 200-240 gram per day which is 4 daily portions normally. Hay and water unlimited as usual

Just see your comment that you previously had two litters in April, are you a breeder or was it an accidental breeding? How are your older babies now, did you find good homes for them already?

My rabbits had babies one day apart. Shadow had hers a week ago and nugget had hers the day after shadow. Nuggets babies although a day younger are much bigger im worried about shadows babies one is super small and I keep finding him out the nest 2 others also are small. I dont want to intervene because I've been told its super hard to raise a baby rabbit.
