My Roady went to the Rainbow Bridge

My little 13 year old female rabbit Roady passed away yesterday. I was getting ready to take her to be put to sleep after she took a turn for the worse, and she passed on her own as we were getting ready to go. My heart is broken and I will miss my sweet baby girl forever.

You are so lucky that she passed on her own, at home. Harvey had to be put down at the vets and it crushes me every time I think about it. Passing at home must be so comforting to rabbits, instead of at the awful vets. But I’m sorry that she’s gone. Like others have said, you can reach out to any of us. We know the pain and emptiness of losing a special bun. Remember you gave Roady her best bun life, and you have lots of good memories. Sending Prayers.

So sorry for your loss of Roady, but glad you did not have to make that last vet trip--one of the things I hate the most to have to do. I've tried many times to put it off by helping my furry ones til there is no quality of life left and have had no choice. When they pass at home, I'm still upset but the trauma is lessened, although not by much. Rest in peace little girl and binky free.
