My new Rabbit

Im an ag student who in the past year has raised meat pens for fair. About a month ago a teacher at my school had a rabbit hop into his truck. So he brought the rabiit to me and I took him home. He's completely healthy as far as i can tell. very energetic and eats a lot. My questions are what is his breed? and how can tell if hes quality enough to show at fair?
