So we have a lot of animals. Myin-laws do not approve of this and have, on ocasion, expressed thissentiment.

So imagine my surprise when my father-in-law send me an IM asking aboutLivingston! I was shocked at first but he was so genuine inhis interest in my *giant rabbit* that we ended up talking a reallylong time about him. Things had been strained between usafter a comment he made about my priorities after we missed a familywedding, so it was nice.

Who knew when I got Livvie that he's be a bridge back to the in-laws :)

He is darn adorable though :D

He sure is adorable!

I've always had animals in my life and I've experienced the samesentiments from my family and other people, at one time or another.I've come to learn that if someone isn't an animal person, usually, they just don't get it. It's almost like speaking two completelydifferent languages.

It's great to hear that your father-in-law is at least making an attempt to bridge the "language" gap.
