As many of you know i drop by here from time totime. This time i come with sad news. My dog Shep has died at the grandold age of 14. He had trouble in the last year of his life with hisjoints and was on medication to ease the pain. Sadly his joints got tooweak and due to old age his body gave up on him, resulting in him beensick and crying at night. So my dad took him to the vets and they sadlyput him to sleep. They said it was all due to old age and getting anydog to 14 years old is a great achievement and he must have had a richlife. I of course agree.

My dad used to own a country pub and walk Shep through the farmersfields. When we all moved near to the town we all used to go to thecountryside on weekends and climb the cleveland hills. He was anamazing dog with a heart of gold. I will miss him.

Goodbye Shep:bigtears::missyou

DOG

When God had made the earth and sky,
The flowers and the trees.
He then made all the animals,
The fish, the birds, and the bees.

And when at last He'd finished,
Not one was quite the same.
He said, "I'll walk this world of mine,
And give each one a name."

And so He traveled far and wide,
And everywhere He went,
A little creature followed him
Until it's strength was spent.

When all were named upon the earth,
And in the sky and sea,
The little creature said, "Dear Lord,
There's not one left for me."

Kindly the Father said to him,
"I've left you to the end.
I've turned my own name back to front
And called you dog, my friend."
