My bunny won’t stop eating carpet

My rabbit, Misty has never had this problem until last month. I live in a carpeted room and Misty just loves to pick and eat the carpet. I am very worried for her health. We are going to move soon and I worried if she keeps this up my mother is going to have to pay for the damage Misty is going to make to the carpet. Please help!

You could make a pen and put down a sheet of plywood. We had one that would leave bare spots in the carpet, so we used child gates to keep her on the tile and hard wood. Funny thing is she only bothered wall to wall and never bothered the throw rugs.
