Lately, even if I clean their cages every day, the odor is terrible in my room. I get a headache just walking in.

It is beginning to get cold out (about 39 degrees f.) in the morning, and I was wondering if they would get too cold out in the barn?

They will be fine if you get them out theresoon. Don't wait too much longer as it will start to get evencolder. I am going to move rabbits soon (breeders go in mybasement for the winter, bucks outside.). I usually give themsome hay but never had a problem. It is still not too coldout.

I need to know where the scent glandsare and how to clean them. Are they in the general vent area?

Laura

Edit: I found an old post about the scent glands. Pam says q-tips and baby oil are best for cleaning them.

I think both of them have been defecating feces with their territorial scents.

I moved them outside into the barn, cleaned them out again and put a blanket over the cages to keep them warm.
