Loki didn't run to his dish tonight and he just sat there. He didn't seem to want to interact, but I picked him up anyway and carried him around. I checked his tushy, his feet, his eyes, mouth, tummy, and nose. Everything is normal, but he's not himself.

Do you think it's possible he's just in mourning since Lily died yesterday?

Hi, poor Loki, did he have a chance to say his goodbyes to his Love Lily. I haven't had one of a pair pass yet but reading on here it does sound like bunnie mourn the loss of thir partners just like humans.

Is Loki an inside bunny or outside? If outside can you bring him in now that he is alone? That way he can interact with you (if he's an outside bunny).

Can you intice him to eat by giving him trats?

Hopefully he will start to eat soon?

Susan:)

Sure sounds like he is sad and a bit depressed. Try and get him away from his cage, snuggles, free run time and extra treats. Animals mourn too, guess that's why you hear of dogs lying on graves and refusing to move. Give him lots of loving, it will help you too.
