I have a flemish giant that was due to deliver friday, as of this morning she has still not delivered. She is bigbut has been pulling fur for the nest box, eating ok, and she seems to be fine but I am worried since she is 3 days overdue.

This is her second litter and the first litter delivered right on time and she was fine, with no complications. I am just wondering if I should be concerned or not.

Different breeds seem to have slight variations in gestation time. If possible, it might be good to get to the vet to have them check her out. They can also try to induce labor by giving her oxytocin (ptosin in humans). I have also heard of giving an overdue doe Tums, as the calcium can stimulate labor. However, I'm not a breeder so I don't know. I hope some will come in soon...
