Posting a reply to this thread as it's now a year since Luna showed signs of EC.
She is now a happy little bunny ... a cataract in one eye which doesn't stop her from getting into mischief.
Benji her mate, is 10 and a bit and on anti biotics at the moment for an eye infection and a possibly UTI - also on Metacam and eye drops.
He is my 'heart' bunny ... my best friend, my true comforter and the best rabbit there ever was. (Of course)
Am thrilled to bits with Luna, though daughter Hollie spent 24/7 nursing her and then massaging her back legs and moving them properly (and gently) so that she kept use of them.
Her first venture out (Luna's that is) ... she kept to the side of the run to get her bearings, but with a week or so she was great.
There is hope!
