Lump problem

Hi Guys

Need you help with something.

My baby just had her teeth done last week (and they were in a bad way). I noticed the day before they were done, that her has a hard lump on one side under the chin.

Since her teeth were done, Im still having to force feed her critical care. Well she stopped eating again and was back at the vets today with her. The lump has spread under the chin and towards the other side.

I have to go back on Monday with her.

My question is, have any of you experienced this before ?? If so, what was the problem and what was the outcome.

Sounds like a jaw abscess to me... I have not dealt with it before, but I do know it is a fairly common thing.

I have heard a lot of different stories, ranging from getting rid of them fairly easily to battling with it for quite some time.

Which teeth were done? Was it the back ones?

It was the back ones, yes. He trimmed the front ones a little also just to even everything out

Did the vet get a look at the lump? If not, I'd ask them to take a look at it specifically. Dental problems above the gumline often also mean dental problems exist below the gumline.
