It's taken me ages to post this but these are the only pellets they sell at our supermarket.

Lucerne Pellets (Peters brand)

Min crude protein- 17%
Min crude fibre- 18%
Max crude fat- 4%

Is this okay?

They have lots of mixes (homebrand looks like birdseed!)!

"Lucerne" is another name for Alfalfa.
They look a little high on protein, a little low on fiber, but not unusual for alfalfa pellets.
I'm sure they're ok, especially if the alternative is mixed birdseed ones.
I would limit the amount though, unless they're still baby rabbits, and give a good grass hay along with it.

:yeahthat:

If that's your only choice for plain pellets, go with it. It has a lot of fat and protein so do be careful about your rabbit's weight. I'd limit the pellets (maybe very limited for adults), feed lots ofgrass hay, and feed a varietyveggies if your buns tolerate them well.
