I love all babies but I hardly ever get to see mini-rex or rex babies.

Ooh! I'll have a litter next year in march! lol. I'm breeding my new buck to my doe. We're expecting only one litter hopefully out of her. She's already 2 years old I think. And then we're going to breed a Netherland for a May litter! eek. I can't wait! lol.

Blue Giants, how fast do Mini Rex's sell? How much you usually sell them for?

Mini-rex are popular around here. I just love them myself. bo is so soft and I love to see the babies.

Yeah my doe's fur is really soft whereas her "husbun"s fur isn't as soft. I'm hoping for good show/brood quality babies out of her this spring!

The mommas are very busy either constructing their nests or comtemplating

them.

Now, are they all the same colors or do you have a specific color you're wanting to see?

I really love my castor. At first I think it was more "oh great a brown bunny...." but that's who Lexi picked. now I understand the beauty and all of the castor. he's also my big baby!

I think I'd love to eventually own a red, a harly, or maybe a black mini or standard.

Castors were my first variety and are still my favorite. They are one of the

most competive and can be difficult to get the color perfect. I enjoy all

the varieties that I do though. Castors, blacks, otters, reds and my newest

variety sable points. Now they are achallenge LOL.

I have a black doe bred to an otter so there should be both.

A black doe bred to a broken black so there should be both. There is a chance of

blue also as both parents carry it.

An otter doe bred to an otter so there should be otter and maybe black.

A castor doe bred to a castor so there will only be castor. Both of the parents are

grand

When I got home from work three of the does had there fur all pulled and ready.

When I went to feed the bunnies this morning I discovered that all of the does

due had kindled during the night.

Black to broken=2 blacks and 3 broken blacks.

Otter to otter=2 black otters and 2 blacks

Castor to Castor=2 castors

Black to otter=3 peanuts SIGH

They all did a great job of making a nest and pulling plenty of fur. I will get

some pictures tonight when they settle down.

AWESOME! I knew you'd be on today! I was just telling my daughter before she left for school that there were 4 does ready to kindle last night. She asked the colors and when she heard broken black she really got excited! She's going to be hoping for you to get some all day and you already have!

I'm so sorry about the litter of peanuts. Is it odd to have a whole litter of them? The odds are not really in favor of it are they?

Can't wait to see all the little babies! congrats!

Thanks! They are cute when they are born all snuggled up to each other.

It's not unheard of to get a whole litter of peanuts. Especially when you

really want some babies out of the parents! The dam to the litter is a grand

champion with 5 legs and the sire is a grand champion also with 7 legs. He

would probably have got more but I stopped showing him becasue I didn't

want anything to happen to him.

I had a sable point doe kindle a litter of 6 a while ago and she had

1 normal himmie and 5 peanut sable points.

It breaks my heart to see the little peanuts cause you know they won't live
