Litter Training

My rabbits are mostly litter trained, but only use the litter box when it is in a certain spot. I am planing on taking them somewhere with me, and I need to be able to trust them to use it- no matter where it is. Is anyone able to give me tips or a training method?

What I would do is put newspaper over the entire area first, watch and see where they go the first time and then put the litter box there (with hay at the edge so they'll be enticed in), giving them treats when they use it.
