As a lionhead breeder, I would encourage you totry a shelter first - but also look for breeders in yourarea. Here is a link to breeders:

I think lionheads are great - obviously - or I wouldn't breedthem. But I would take the time to play with the lionhead andsee its personality.

I raise mine for temperament first of all - and they love people andthey love to play. I have seen others though who are not aspeople-friendly partly due to genes adn partly due to lack ofhandling...

i have been looking everywhere for onei cant find any breeders and they dont have any in the shelters..:X(ilive in NB)

Perhaps try to find a breeder in the nearest state or states and see ifthey'll ship? Or see if a Canadian breeder willship?
