I would like to know when should I startlimiting my rabbit's feed? He is a male mini lop and he is 5 monthsold. Right now, I give him unlimited feed and hay. I would also like toknow how much feed I should give him when I start limiting it, and howmuch of vegetables should I be giving him daily. He isalreadyused to eating vegetables.

I start limiting at 6 months old (8 months forlarger bunnies). I give them 1 oz per pound of adult weight. Veggiesare hard to determine how much to give a day. I personally dont feed myrabbits a lot of veggies because they spend so much time outside eatingthe grass. As long as your rabbit isnt getting sick from the veggies Iwouldnt worry about it, but moderation is the key. Just watch out forthose sugary veggies (such as carrots) they can make a rabbit gainweight so fast!
