Licking her pee?

After she pees on the blanket she runs around on she turns around a licks it for a while.. We pick her up and move her when we catch her doing it. Why is she doing this?

No worries. BunBun, now at the bridge used to pee outside his potty pan and sit in it and lick it up:disgust:. He had water to drink, I don't know, he was a bit strange sometimes. I don't think any of us know why some buns do that. There was a thread on this quite awhile ago. Maybe trying to replenish their systems with essential vitamins/nutrients lost through urine:shock:. I doubt that,but who knows. Weird buns.

That is a little weird, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Urine is sterile.

Misty did that a lot when she was a baby... she eventually grew out of it, but it was disturbing.
