You can cleanthe nest box but be sure tosave the pulled furr , the babies are notold enough yet to keep themselves completely warm , putin fresh hayand the fur that was pulled. it should be smellimg betterand the babies will be warm ,As soon as she lets them out of the nestyou can take the nest away.
If it is hot in your area, you can take out thenest box if they've already got their fur...if they climb out, watchtosee if they can hop back in, if it gets cool at night, makesure they're all safe a snug before you go to bed. They'll starthopping out and there's not a lot you can do about it.
thanks it is cold here in the evenings so webring the hutch inside at night and back out in the morningsthey have all got fur and opened their eyes when should weput water in for the kits and when will they eat mums food?
When i notice the kits nibbling on the hay inthe nest box, i give them a tiny dish of food in their nest box tonibble at...give them a water bottle now, they'll start using it soonwhen their eyes open, if not already starting, don't use water dishes,they could drown.
