In my garden, we have large conifer tree's that the thrushes and blackbirds nest in. We've got a few out there now, but the thing that's bothering me is that this pesky magpie keeps coming down, and sticking it's head in one of the nests, obviously aiming to get one of the eggs, or baby birds (I was unaware they ate other birds until last week).
I'm forever shooing it away so the mother bird can get some peace and stop going insane with chirping out warning calls. Does anyone know how to deter birds like crows and magpies? Or do I keep having to go out there and getting rid of it?
