You are right. Many bunnies are boughton there own and become a burden to the owners for manyreasons. Maybe there are not fixed(spayed/neutered). Maybe they do not get enough attention andwould be better with two rabbits.

I agree that getting one of the rabbits that are being offered would begood move. You would probably be giving the rabbit a betterhome.
