A little history: The Jersey Wooly is a mix of the Netherland Dwarf andFrench Agora. Bonnie Seely's(the "creator" of the JW) main purpose forthe Jersey Wooly was for pets.As they got poupular, they wereintroduced at 1984 ARBA convention. In 1988, the Jersey Wooly Rabbitbecame a recongnized breed by the ARBA.
4 Class Breed
SR Bucks and Does: Not over 3 1/2 pounds. Average: 3 pounds.
JR Bucks and Does: Not over 3 pounds. No less than 1 1/2 pounds.
Recongized Varieties:
Agouti: Chestnut, Chinchilla, Opal, Squirrel
AOV: Black Pointed White, Orange(new variety)
Self: Black, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac, Ruby Eyed White(REW), Blue Eyed White(BEW)
Shaded: Siamese Sable, Smoke Pearl, Sable Point, Seal, Tortoise Shell(Black), Blue Tortoise.
Tan Group: Black otter, Blue otter, Black silver marten, Blue silvermarten, Lilac silver marten, Sable marten, Smoke pearl marten
Broken: All recongnized varieties.
Working Varieties: Fawn.
