Jenna is gathering hay!!!!!

Jenna has been seen gathering hay,yippeee!! Only one problem....she is trying to make her neston the wire...what do I do???

How long till the kits get here I wonder???

You might try moving the box, or putting anotherbox in to limit her options of building on the floorwire(even if it's cardboard).

Thanks Pam, I did put another box in thereyesterday so she built her nest in there. When I woke up thismorning there was/is hair everywhere!!! But no kits yet. Shelooks to be resting right now....poor baby!

Is there anything I should watch for? How will I know if she is having problems???

Does that are having birthing problems (dystocia)may sit in the box straining and have some discharge offluid. The doe may also become over heated during a stressfulbirth and may be panting. Not all does will show signs oftrouble.
