Hi all!

My name is Janelle and I am a new rabbit owner of a sweet little bunny named Pancakes. My boyfriend and I had been talking about adding a rabbit to our family (ourselves and two dogs), and we had done some research, but not much, since we hadn't decided yet whether a rabbit would have been a good fit for our family.To my surprise, my coworkers showed up one day with a bunny for me as a gift;I guess I had beentalking about rabbits at work more than Ihad thought!

She's been with us for almost 2 months, and she's getting bigger every day! Unfortunately, I don't know what breed she is, or how old she is, although a friend's wife, who is a vet tech, told us she's probably a mini rex, and is somewhere around 4-6 months old currently. We've been doing a LOT of reading about rabbits to make sure that we are responsible pet owners and that she has a happy life, however, there are a lot of conflicting facts which leaves me with a LOT of questions. No worries, I'll find the right place to post them, but thought I would take the time to give a brief summary of who I am and how I got to become the owner ofa little bunny named Pancakes.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo. Many people also use Photobucket. You just copy the img file and paste it into the post.
