Is This Butt Stretching?

My hubbyand I have noticed both of our girls flattening their butts now and again (maybe once or twice nightly).

Since our one bun has megacolon symptoms, and the other is overcoming yet another bout of stasis, I wonder if they're really stretching theirbunny butts or briefly pressing their stomachs to the ground (out of discomfort).

I'm not quite sure what exactly you mean, but I have seen rabbits flatten themselves to the floor at the butt-end plenty of times, often they sit there looking silly, or yawn, or hunch up into the bunny-loaf position afterwards.

When I see mine flattening their butts I know a pee stained carpet is sure to follow.

Yep, the "Stretch and Yawn"!

Seriously, my bun does it all the time, and when I had two, yes I noticed them both doing it (Stretching and Yawning-that is!) Sounds "normal" to me.
