Is it safe?

[align=center]I just love the look and feel of AstroTurf, and really wanted something like it for my future rabbit. I knew it wasn't safe, so continued to research for some kind of pet friendly product. Here's what I found:

I'm assuming it's pet-friendly because it's non-toxic or something? Or maybe just because it's durable? I think when they say "pet friendly", they're referring to dogs and cats who tend to scratch and dig, but not chew. Rabbits tend to chew, and I'd be afraid of what would happen if one digested it. So is this safe to use in an x-pen or cage?

If you don't have a chewer. All but one of ours has a piece of carpet in their hutch. The chewer gets wood.

I suggest an indoor/outdoor carpet with a very low nap so the rabbit can't easily grab the strands with his teeth.
