Is bunny urine brownish?

I have a male and it seems like his pee is brownish - is this what it's supposed to be like?

Usually, it's not brownish--it can range from orangish-red to clear and still be normal. Brownish could be orange/red that sat for a while, or could be indicative of dehydration.

I used to have a really good picture of the range of colors that is normal, but I'm having difficulty finding it.

Hmmm..my bun's pee is yellowish color. Lil stinker pee'd on my bathroom floor the other day I'd say brown sounds a bit odd..but I'm not an expert. Is he drinking plenty of water?

Does it have a strong odor? Dark urine with a strong odor could be an infection.

Mine is like an orangy yellow, not too too pungent. how sick are we to know the color and scent of our buns peepee?!?!?!

It's not really sick Sure, you know the colour of your own, don't you? What about dogs?

It's just something that "happens" and something that can come in handy when owning a rabbit

could it have been something that he ate? I know Bonnies wee gets a bit reddish after eating strawberries for example

The color does change if they eat plants with pigments in them, like carrots, chard, kale, and some others.
