Hello, I am new to the forum, so I wanted to post a little bit about myself as well as my mini- lop FruFru.
Brittany: I have owned rabbits pretty much my whole twenty years of existence but just realized what great pets rabbits make after moving out on my own and purchasing Frufru. He is truly the perfect pet for my lifestyle, since I live in an apartment and can"t have any dogs because the noise they make. It was also essential for me to have a pet that could be left alone for some time in the middle of the day since my roommate and I both work.
Frufru: My life started like any typical rabbit, I was born on a rabbit farm for the purpose of being sold along with hundreds of other rabbits. However; a terrible ice storm hit killing all but a few of the other rabbits, and some how I was a survivor, but my story doesn't end here, the rabbit breeder waited for some buyer to want us but no caller ever came, so the breeder decided that we were too old to be sold and was going to put us down. After all we had been through and we were only a couple months old! But then a call came in for a shipment of rabbits from a pet store that the breeder often sold to, and another miracle happened, the store agreed to take us. We were shipped and left in this horrible store night and day, cramped with other rabbits, and left in the dark at closing. Just when I was starting to get really down. A gentle hand plucked me from the cage and I was in a box being taken to a new home. Once I arrived it took quite a bit of adjusting on my and new owners part. But now I have been there five months and we get along great. I have plenty of fresh hay and veggies, with an occasional banana as a treat. My favorite food is red leaf lettuce and dandelion.
