Hi theilian,
You did the best you could to bump up the appointment. You want to treat it if it is a bacterial issue as soon as possible.
I wish I could give you an answer from here as to what it is. I knowhow desperate you are to have one. A good rabbit vet will take a bloodtest and find out what the results are before proceeding with amedication, unless of course they can spot right off that it is aninfection.
She could just be suffering from allergies with a post nasal drip thatcauses her to cough. I know it's hard to remain positive in thesecircumstances, but it might be something that's just fine asBunnyMommy's story was. I don't know how long it's been going on, butthe sooner they get treatment, the better.
I'm sorry I can't give you the reassurance that you're looking for.
You might pick up some Nutri Cal (a dietary supplement) which can boosttheir immunity system. VetRx for Rabbits has been known to alleviatethe symptoms. (Not kill the virus, but alleviate the symptoms.)
