Does anyone know how to tell if your rabbit ispregant? Me and my neighbor were playing with our rabbits, which arevery good friends, and her buck mounted my doe Starr. Please answer!

you have to palpate them. gently put your hand onher lower belly and see if you feel "marbles." if you do, you'llprobably have kits in about 30 days from when they mated.

Fourteen days after mating is the easiest time todetermine if the rabbit is pregnant by palpating when the fetuses arethe size and consistancy of grapes. They can be felt in thelower groin area. Palpating does take some practice as it maybe hard for beginners to discern the different structures of theabdominal area such as the bladder, contents of the cecum, uterus andkidneys.

Normal gestation for rabbits is 31 days.
