Hi there!
My family has 2 bunnies, one a black otter rex and the other some sortof broken smoke pearl lop, a Maine coon cat, and a guinnea pig (soon tobe two!) that we've adopted from difficult situations. Allhave been adults when they came to us.
Precious had been sitting in her hutch in the middle of a field for herfirst year and a half -- poor girl! It took about a year forher to acclimatize herself to being held and loved, but now she's aserious snuggle bunny. She's very curious and playful as well!
Violet was about 2 years old when we got her. She wasn'tgetting any attention at her former owner's home... justsitting in the back yard against the house. She could be a"show rabbit" I think, but we're not interested in that... we're justhappy to have a beautiful, sweet, seriously snuggly bunny
Our cat, Cocoa, was 9 years when we adopted him. Hesteers pretty clear of the "bunny monsters" because they are so "scary":bunnydance: But he is buddies with Tommy, our 2 year oldmale guinnea pig. He likes to help groom Tommy!
We are a home schooling family and our critters are part of ourcurriculum. My eldest, Jessica, age 14, is doing a researchproject on rabbit care, etc. So far she's got about 20pages! I'm really pleased with her progress.
I'm looking forward to learning more and sharing here. This looks like a neat place
I posted a pix of our bunnies snuggling in the favorite photos section.
Blessings,
Sharron
