how to stop rabbit biting

My rabbitloves to be petted, and comeswilling and sits on my lap when I'm in the floor. When I pick her up tohold her, while sitting down, she bites me. Can anyone tell me what todo to stop this!

Maybe...stop picking her up. She obviouslydoesn't like this, many rabbits don't. Rabbits are not like cats ordogs and tend to equate being picked up with being scooped up by apredator. Gain her trust more as she is down on "her level" and slowly(very slowly if need be) work up to holding her.

Hi abigail, welcome. My rabbits are the same -being on 'ground level' suits them fine, as they feel safe, and theylet me pet them there, but not when I pick them up. You will find a lotof rabbits are like this, and most won't change. Perhaps, just get usedto coming down to their level - Jan
