i have a friend who has an adult rabbit, and i myself have a bunny that is only about 5-6 weeks old. Im starting to get scared about the whole enteritis thing and im thinking if i can get some cecals from my friend's rabbit all should be fine. But how do you get them from a rabbit??? If they eat them when no one is around to notice..

First, I would give the baby probiotics you can buy from the pet or feed store (BeneBac, ProBios, human probiotics if necessary). To get cecals from an adult bunny, I would watch the bunny, and when it looks like it's about to eat a cecal, let it reach down there but spook it before it eats the poo. That way the bunny should run away, leaving the poo. You could also temporarily increase the pellets in the adult's diet so that it leaves uneaten cecals, but you wouldn't want to do that for too long.
