I've been wondering this for a while, but kept forgetting to post it. This is mainly for those with a lot of rabbits (10+) but anyone can answer. How fast do your rabbits eat through a bail of hay? My rabbits consume 80lbs of hay in about 2wks time. It just seems like we get the hay and before i know it we need more! Thank goodness we get our hay for free from a guy my husband works with. We just have to let him know when we need it and he brings it to work.

christina mom to 4 daughters, 17 rabbits, and 1 chocolate lab.

I used to do 1 bale every 2 months with 5 rabbits. But now I have 7 and some fosters, so it is faster, still not sure how fast since they are recent additions.

I don't have an exact estimate, because we open a bale in front of one of the horse stalls and just bring flakes into the rabbits' stall as needed. If I had to guess, I'd say around a bale a week. But I have quite a few rabbits, and they have hay in front of them at all times.
