Hi, I am new to breeding and am looking at getting a 1yr old sooty fawn mini lop. Apparently she is very shy and doesn't like being handled as she has not been handled much at all. What is the likelihood of her improving with more handling and will her babies be unfriendly as well? Is it passed on in the genetics?
Thanks!

If her shyness is from her lack of being handled growing up then you may or may not have some success with changing her behavior. It doesn't necessarily mean her babies will be skittish. Be sure to handle them when they're young. Now, if the doe is aggressive then I would think twice about using her for breeding.
