how do I tell if the dye on a cardboard box is nontoxic?

I have this fun dip box which the candy came in, and I was thinking about cutting little holes in the sides and then filling it with hay and treats. But it is a very colorful box, and I was wondering if it would be safe for Bunny to chew?

Most dyes are soy-based these days. Unlikely it will hurt.
